Go Global Program

You've developed an Innovative Product or Service, now you need to Sell it! 


The goal of the Go Global Program is to achieve substantial sales growth for the participating companies over the 12-month program. Through training and mentoring the Go Global team at the Innovation Centre it will act as your companies sales and marketing arm. The new Go Global team will primarily work out of the Innovation Centre space, allowing for continuous direction and support.  Each participating company will be assigned a lead contact from the Go Global team to work as the communication link. The Innovation Centre will identify the needs of the participating businesses, help recruit the right candidates, and provide them with the necessary skills, support, and mentorship. During the 12 month program, the Go Global team, the companies, and the staff at the Innovation Centre will set sales targets, develop and implement sales and marketing strategies, monitor results, adjust strategies and achieve results.

How will we do it?

By providing scalable and innovative small and medium-sized businesses with a team of Business Development Representatives to focus on sales, market development and increase their company's ability to innovate and commercialize.


  1. Professional sales training boot camp for Business Development Representatives.
  2. A team environment for Business Development Representatives to work together on participating companies.
  3. Innovation Centre team and resources will help achieve laid-out goals.
  4. Marketing/sales materials and tools (online marketing systems, CRM tools etc).
  5. Regular mentorship and coaching by dedicated business professionals.
  6. The community and partners; leveraging existing community resources to reach objectives and create new tools for success.



Businesses will enroll for a 12-month program at a fee of $500+ HST per month. This fee directly covers a portion of the Go Global team's salary. During this period, resources will be allocated by the Innovation Centre towards training, coaching and mentoring the Go Global team so that sales, marketing, and revenue targets can be achieved. This program represents a significant investment in the participating companies over the 12-month term. There is an expectation that the participating companies will be willing to share a competitive percentage of incremental revenue back into the program. Applicants will be required to go through a screening process, and if successful, sign a contract. 



Business Development Representatives


  • Between the ages of 18-29
  • Able to work in Canada and be located in NWO
  • Not related to their assigned company
  • Head Office located in Northwestern Ontario
  • Ability to scale
  • Products ready for market
  • One full-time employee working in the business
  • Not a retailer or reseller
