Before you come please sign up over here ( https://www.freecodecamp.org/ ) and complete the "Getting Started" section so you are ready to start coding! Why you would attend

One of the big benefits of these meetups is providing you with the motivation to continue coding. It is hard learning to code on your own and half the battle is consistently putting aside time to work on projects. These meetups are aimed to attract a wide array of participants, from professional programmers to folks experimenting in their spare time. These are not coding workshops: no instructors, no agenda, and no lesson plan; these events are very informal, people are encouraged to bring their own projects or meet people who are working on similar projects to collaborate together.

These meetups are also a community stage. Sessions will be periodically accompanied by a few short "TL;DR Talks" and sometimes hands-on workshops. If you're interested in speaking, drop the organizers a line right here on Meetup, or speak with us at an event!
