Health Tech Third Tuesday

Our April Third Tuesday event for tech enthusiasts was a resounding success with over 30 people in attendance, the largest turnout yet. The topic of discussion was health tech, and four leading experts in the field were on hand to share their health care app development insights and experiences. Trina Diner and Keli Cristofaro spoke about their stroke transportation and logistics app, which was developed in collaboration with the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. They discussed the challenges they faced and how they overcame them, as well as the impact the app will have on stroke patients' lives when it’s released.

James McCormack and Andie Maylen from Aurora Constellations also shared their experiences developing the world's first design platform for healthcare solutions. They spoke about the need for innovation in healthcare and how technology can help to improve patient outcomes. They also discussed the issues of working in the healthcare industry and how their technology can overcome these challenges.

It's inspiring to witness local healthcare professionals and developers working toward some innovative tech solutions for the industry. With advancements in technology and the increasing use of data, these professionals are able to create some powerful applications to help solve, diagnose, and treat diseases more accurately and efficiently than ever before.

The next Third Tuesday event promises to be just as exciting, with a focus on wireless 5G connectivity and edge computing. Scott Magill, Tbaytel's Wireless Network Planner, and Stephan Sisko, Tbaytel's Director of Information Security & Planning and Privacy Officer, will be leading the discussion. The event will take place on May 16th, from 5pm to 7pm at The Foundry.

If you're interested in learning more about the latest developments in technology and how they're impacting our lives, we invite you to join us for the next Third Tuesday event. The event is free to attend, and everyone is welcome. We look forward to seeing you there!
