Program Overview

TechKids Camp

Tech Kids is an engaging program designed to inspire and educate students in Grades 3–5 and Grades 6–8 about technology and innovation. Through hands-on activities and interactive lessons, participants explore exciting subjects like robotics, coding, and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). The program empowers young minds to develop problem-solving skills, foster creativity, and gain confidence in navigating the rapidly evolving world of technology. By introducing foundational concepts in an approachable and fun environment, Tech Kids equips students with the tools they need to become the innovators and tech leaders of tomorrow.

Frequently Asked Questions

You will be dropping your child off at the Northwestern Ontario Innovation Centre (2400 Nipigon Rd) ** Children are required to be signed-in and out by an adult in the office at the time off pick up and drop off. **

Drop off will be between 8:30 am – 9:00 am; 
The day ends at 4:00 p.m. but there will be supervision and self-directed activities until 4:30 p.m.

Our facilitators have been recently training in Standard First Aid and CPR. Also, Police Reference Checks have been conducted on our facilitator and volunteers of the TechKids Camp.

Tech Kids Camps have a variety of fun and educational activities including coding, robotics, circuity, 3D printing and other STEAM activities!
