Get There Program
We recognize the significance of expanding your business’s reach and establishing crucial connections with partners and customers. Hence, we’ve developed the Get There program, committed to providing funding to help your business attend important tradeshows and conferences to help grow sales and create new partnerships.
While having a booth or navigating the tradeshow floor is a valuable step, our program pushes you to take it up a notch by actively facilitating meetings with potential clients and partners, propelling your business to the Next Level!
Eligible applicants may receive up to $5,000 to purchase a trade show booth or up to $1,500 to attend a trade show or conference, with a 50% cost-share.
Applicant Eligibility
- Must have an innovative product that is manufacturing or technology-based that you have developed and own
- Be a full-time business and have 30k in revenue in the last 12 months
- 1 full-time employee
- Possess a valid Canadian business number.
- Must be a business or non profit based in Northwestern Ontario

- Exhibitor Booth Fee
- Travel to and from the Trade Show and Conference* (see FAQ for more info)

Who can apply to the Get There Program?
The Get There Program is open to businesses located in Northwestern Ontario that want to attend trade shows and conferences with the potential to drive significant sales growth or develop key partnerships. Applicants must have an innovative, technology- or manufacturing-based product they have developed and own. Eligible businesses must operate full-time, have earned at least $30,000 in revenue over the last 12 months, employ at least one full-time staff member, and possess a valid Canadian business number.
What trade shows and conferences can I attend through this program?
Through this program, you can attend trade shows and conferences that have a significant impact on your business by driving sales growth or fostering key partnerships. Eligible events must be located outside of Northwestern Ontario, ensuring broader market reach and strategic opportunities. However, very few exceptions may apply regarding the location, depending on specific circumstances.
How do I apply to the Get There program?
The first step to applying to the Get There program is to reach out to James and he’ll happy meet with you to discuss the opportunity with you.
Is my business eligible to recieve up to $5,000 in funding?
Businesses that are interested in receiving up to $5,000 in funding must have a booth at the event that you are attending if you are accepted into the program.
If you only want to attend an event without having a booth, you can only receive up to $1,500 in funding.
What travel is included in this program?
Only flights to and from your destination are covered through this program. Rental vehicles are considered on a case to case basis. Taxi’s and ride sharing are excluded.
