FAQ's
Frequently Asked Questions
Do kids need to have a business idea ahead of time?
No, campers do not need to have a business idea before starting the camp, as we will be helping the campers go through the process of generating ideas and creating a business plan.
If campers do have an idea in mind ahead of time, they are also welcome to use that for market day if they like.
What is the cost of the camp?
Early Bird Rate: $199+HST per camper
General Rate: $209 +HST
When is market day?
Market Day will take place at the end of the week, on Friday beginning at 11:30 a.m. and ending at 1:30 p.m.
BizKid participants set up in The Landing at The Northwestern
Ontario Innovation Centre.
We welcome friends and relatives to drop by Market Day to support the kids’ businesses!
What do parents need to know?
Your child will need help with gathering materials, crafting their products, and purchasing any necessary supplies. Additionally, assisting them with planning their product display and pricing for Market Day is helpful.
To ensure a fun and fair experience, we ask that those who have participated in the camp before, develop a new business idea – no repeats from previous years, please! Also, we ask that all products sold at Market Day be handmade or enhanced by the campers themselves, rather than reselling store-bought items.
When is drop off/pick up during the camp?
