There’s only so much that can be done through phone calls, emails, and video conferencing. Sometimes, businesses need to meet face to face with potential customers and partners to close a deal or make a sale.
That’s where the Canadian Digital Media Network’s Outbound Soft-Landing Program comes in. This program offers mature startups and mid-sized companies exposure to business opportunities around the world. It provides the opportunity to work from a partnered facility to obtain regional support and resources for the right connections to help open new markets, close international sales or connect with new partners.
As a member of the Canadian Digital Media Network, Northwestern Ontario Innovation Centre provides you with exclusive access to this program.
Successful applicants of the Outbound Soft-Landing Program will be reimbursed up to $4,000CDN in expenses to help offset transportation and accommodation costs. Companies landing at a partnered facility will also have the costs associated with their desk space and services covered by the program for up to three months.
Both the location and the specific landing facility are always determined by the company, based on market pull and the needs that the company is seeking to fulfill in that market.
Consider the following questions:
- Are you an established startup or mid sized company (1-100 employees)?
- Do you have a revenue generating product or service?
- Is your business, product, or service centered on ICT or mobile?
- Is there potential to grow your business in foreign markets?
- Are you a client of the Northwestern Ontario Innovation Centre?
If you’ve answered ‘Yes’ to these questions, you are a candidate for the CDMN Soft-Landing Program.
